Substance misuse in a family impacts children and young people in a variety of ways. Working in alliance with other young carers’ organisations we have designed a support package to increase young people’s understanding of substance misuse and build their resilience in such adverse situations. The sessions support the development of strategies designed to safeguard these children currently living in unpredictable environments.
